Double Glazing Specifications

Glazing is undertaken in controlled factory conditions which provide quality and adherence to correct glazing practices in line with BS 6262 standard. This includes a 5mm clearance between the edge of the glass unit and the rebate to assist with drainage and ventilation commonly referred to as a drained and vented glazing system. We recommend ordering factory finished, glazed items to ensure they comply with legislation and are at recommended standards for the best overall performance.
