Internal Doors
The range includes glazed doors and FD30 fire-rated doors to suit a wide variety of projects. Stock standard sizes are available for fast delivery, sometimes within 48 hrs, making it easy to find the right door for your home or development. Timber is a natural material, variations in grain pattern and colour occur naturally between doors. Changes in humidity and temperature can also affect the appearance of timber over time. As the timber matures, many of these colour variations become less noticeable.
Get the Most from Your Deanta Interior Doors
Follow these guidelines to ensure the best performance and longevity from your Deanta door:
- Typically dispatch in-stock doors within two working days and deliver them within 3–5 working days. Delivery times may vary by location, so please contact us for confirmation. We can also arrange next-day or specified-day delivery for an additional charge.
- Please inspect all Deanta doors immediately upon delivery and before installation. DWS cannot accept claims for damage or faults once you remove the door from its packaging.
- It is good to measure every door individually before fitting glass. Deanta hand-assembles its doors, so aperture sizes may vary slightly. We strongly recommend using a qualified glass fitter.
- Store doors horizontally on a clean, dry, flat, and level surface.
- Allow each door to acclimatise in the property for at least seven days before installation. Gradually increase the ambient temperature during this period.
Adjusting Your Deanta Doors
If you need to trim or alter a door, seal all exposed edges immediately with varnish to prevent moisture absorption. Failure to do so may cause warping or splitting.
- We do not recommend removing more than 32mm in total and 18mm from one side of the width and height of the door.
- It is best to trim all edges evenly to maintain balance and appearance.
- For best results, apply three coats of a suitable internal wood finish to all unfinished doors.
- Protect any modifications made to prefinished doors, including ironmongery and hinge cut-outs.
- Do not install doors in freshly plastered properties.
- Schedule delivery only after all wet trades have completed their work and the building has dried sufficiently.
- Fit three hinges to every door.
- Use only moisture-resistant sealing products designed specifically for internal joinery doors.
