When choosing an external doorset, security should be a high factor. Our external doorsets have been thoroughly tested in our laboratories and independent tested to PAS-23 and PAS-24.
Glass in our external doorsets are installed by a special technique to ensure that it can only be removed from within. Hinges are mounted with a groove made by hardened steel. It penetrates the frame deeply, making the door safe from attack.
Specifications
The Swedoor Composite doors are manufactured using a wood fibre core sealed within aluminium stabilising panels for exceptional strength. They offer excellent thermal performance, with a continuous weatherstrip and seal which minimise energy loss and prevent water ingress. These doorsets are constructed to resist extreme temperatures without twisting or bowing and also come with a reassuring 10 year guarantee.
Security As Standard
These Swedoor external doorsets provide an enhanced level
of security as standard. These doors are 60mm thick and have two adjustbale heavy-duty ball bearing hinges bolted through the frame to steel reinforcing plates. These come with drill proof lock case and anti-bump oval cylinder and thumb turn, as NHBC standards combines with a high security striking plate. There is a 3 point espagnolettre multi-point locking system and Police “Secured by Design” certified. They are also supplied with laminated and toughened security glass.

Door Construction
The construction of these doors consists of a wood fibre core sealed between two 0.45mm aluminium stabilising sheets with a HDF face. The doors are 60mm thick and edged with rebated timber stiles and rails. All come with an aluminium rain deflector and the standard size is 988 x 2080mm.
